Yaremi Kordos Cuban Jazz Trio

Yaremi Kordos is an outstanding and authentic singer born in Havana. Every one of her performances reflects her deep Cuban roots, combining passion, charisma and an unmistakable musical energy that captivates audiences of all generations.

As a young artist, she worked with the legendary Buena Vista Social Club. Today she is an active presence on the European music scene, where her projects and performances often connect Cuba, the Netherlands, Croatia and Poland, including collaborations such as Cuban Jazz Evolution Trio and Roland Abreu & The Cuban Latin Jazz. 

With her new trio, Tres Corrientes, Yaremi performs original compositions alongside traditional Cuban music infused with contemporary influences — a style she describes as “Havana Soul Meets Jazz.” For the first time in the festival’s history, the vibrant spirit of Cuban music will take the stage, bringing an exciting new dimension to the programme and, we believe, delighting audiences. 

Joining her are the virtuoso Cuban double bassist Roland Abreu and the internationally acclaimed guitarist Ratko Zjača.
