Darko uses the ‘two-hand tapping’ technique, playing two guitars at the same time. Since 2008, when he started to develop his own style inspired by the famous guitarist Stanley Jordan,
 
Darko has been impressing audiences and critics with his unique approach to music and authentic technique. He has collaborated with a number of Croatian and international musicians.
Darko composes classical, theatre and pop music, and has recorded several albums. As this Croatian virtuoso is a rare gem, not only on the local but also on the international scene, his concert will be a real treat for our visitors.
 
Darko has won nine Status awards for the best jazz guitarist in Croatia, a Porin award in 2005 for the best instrumental performance (Cantando no toro), and another Porin in 2016 for the best jazz album together with pianist Matija Dedić (Jazzy Bach). He has worked with renowned Croatian and international musicians, such as Stefan Milenković, Goran Končar, Fabrizio Bosso, Gene Jackson, Mario Fragiacomo, Angelo Comisso, Roberto Magris, Bobby Watson, Herb Geller, Philip Catherine, Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Duško Gojković, František Uhlíř, Jaromír Helešic, Michel Hauser and many others.
